Open letter to the President of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria Abdelmadjid Tebboune regarding the war of extermination in Gaza

May the peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.

On my own behalf, and on behalf of all members and activists The Confederation of Productive Forces Trade Unions (Kozifop)We would like to express to you, Mr. President, our deep appreciation and gratitude for your steadfast and supportive stance on the Palestinian cause, particularly for the tireless efforts of Algerian diplomacy in confronting the war of extermination waged by the Zionist entity's forces against the children of Gaza.

We note with deep regret the US veto of the draft resolution for a ceasefire in Gaza, submitted by Algeria to the Security Council. We affirm our deep appreciation and pride for your efforts and sound intervention in this vital humanitarian matter.

Algeria has a long history of support for the Palestinian cause and advocacy for liberation movements. From this standpoint, we, as a human rights trade union organization, look forward to Algeria taking a leading and pivotal position in assisting children in Gaza today. This will help us confront the Zionist lobby that works to suppress free voices around the world by attacking all humanitarian efforts by various humanitarian organizations to assist children in the Gaza Strip in occupied Palestine, which to this day is experiencing a truly tragic situation.

Mr. President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune

We would like to emphasize the utmost importance of financial and political support for international humanitarian institutions such as UNRWA.  United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East }, which is facing a fierce attack and campaign by the major powers supporting the Zionist occupation, which led to the freezing of financial support from many Western countries that are the primary supporters of the same agency, which has made the activities of the UN agency operating in the Gaza Strip extremely difficult, and has plunged it into a financial crisis that it can do without, especially at this critical stage, which exposes the lives of more than 2 million Palestinians in Gaza to the risk of famine, which is something that cannot be ignored in light of the difficult humanitarian conditions that children are experiencing there.

Therefore, through this open letter, we urge and call upon you, Mr. President of the Algerian Republic, to announce an official position affirming Algeria's commitment to supporting the Palestinian people in Gaza, and political support for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), through Algeria's financial support for the same agency. If this action is taken, it will certainly lead to a very effective contribution to the relief of children and women in Gaza who have been harmed by the collective punishment and brutal war waged by the usurping occupation. In this way, Algeria, with its firm and strong position, will remain a constant voice for the weak and a defender of humanity.

Mr. President Abdelmadjid Tebboune,

We trust your sensitivity to this issue and your ability to take the necessary steps to address the injustice and crimes taking place in Gaza to date. We are confident that you will continue to provide support and contribute to the international community's efforts to achieve peace and justice in the region and around the world.

Finally, we appreciate your efforts and dedication, and we hope this open letter finds acceptance and approval. We wish you continued success and progress in serving our people and our beloved country.

With all due respect and appreciation.
