Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was martyred in a despicable assassination operation in Tehran, the capital of Iran. Yes, a great mujahid has joined the ranks of Gaza's martyrs, as a result of the despicable attack launched by the inhuman Zionist Israeli administration.
The despicable assassination targeted Ismail Haniyeh while he was in Tehran to attend... Inauguration ceremony of new Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian in the country's capital
But Haniyeh was not the first martyr in his family. His three sons, Amir, Hazem, and Mohammed, and his four grandchildren were killed near the Shati refugee camp in Gaza on the first day of Eid al-Fitr. The car carrying the Haniyeh family was bombed. His sister, Zahra, was killed on June 25.
Haniya said that day with patience and certainty:
“My children did not leave Gaza. My children paid the price with their blood, like all our people.”
He said, sending a message that the rogue entity will never be able to break the resistance of the Palestinians.
It is worth noting that the political leader of Hamas was imprisoned in the Zionist entity's prisons for years, and was exiled from his country repeatedly until he met God as an exile.
He survived several heinous assassination attempts and was pursued by Zionists and pro-Zionists throughout his career, a journey filled with struggle, jihad, and speaking the truth until he attained the honor of martyrdom.
